Overnewton Anglican Community College

Overnewton Anglican Community College (OACC) is a community of learners that is respectful  of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, customs, and heritages. We will ensure justice, equality and equity for all Australians. The College will achieve its vision for reconciliation by providing a culturally responsive place for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to feel respected and valued. We will support our students and staff to understand and accept both the histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the impact of European settlement, actions and policies. We recognise the resilience, diversity and unique attributes of  different Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nations, their cultures and their languages. We will continue to fostering ongoing and mutually beneficial relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and we are committed todevleoping new connections.
