As we continue on our journey towards reconciliation, we continue to increase our understanding of local and national Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures and perspectives through accessing professional learning opportunities, research and connections.
We collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, team members and the community to develop a deeper understanding of local and national First Nations histories. We actively listen to and respectfully follow Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families at our service in relation to including their child's culture, ways of learning, needs, and interests in their education and care.
We continue to commit to increasing our awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' ways of being to inform our practices and policies and enhance children's learning.
