At Goodstart Kooringal we continue our commitment to show respect for and understanding of, and togetherness with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We encourage children and educators to respectfully gain knowledge and understanding about past histories and present perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and histories, as well as continue to provide equal and equitable opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families to successfully participate and be part of our centre program.
All educators, children and families continue to recognise the Wiradjuri People as the Traditional Owners of the Land we meet and play on each day. We provide a centre that reflects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives through the resources, actions, and programs that we can provide to all children every day.
