C&K Gladstone Community Kindergarten believes in raising awareness and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories and cultures and that, through on-going learning and education, we will deepen our connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Through working together and including children in our reconciliation journey from a young age, we can collectively build our understanding for a better future based on stronger relationships between all Australians.
The Reconciliation Action Plan is a journey forward to allow us to celebrate existing partnerships, establish new partnerships and ensure the ethos of cultural safety and reconciliation is fully embedded across everything we do at C&K Gladstone Community Kindergarten and through a new generation of young Australians.
We recognise the commitment required to achieve the goals in the Reconciliation Action Plan, and we encourage all C&K Gladstone Community Kindergarten staff and families in our journey to make it possible together.
