At Platinum we envision a future where the whole community unites in the spirit of respect, understanding and mutual support. Our commitment to reconciliation comes from our core belief that all children deserve to grow up in a world that values diversity and promotes a sense of belonging for everyone, especially First Nations children. 

We believe that reconciliation is a process. It requires the ongoing commitment of all stakeholders to learn and develop an understanding of Australia’s true histories including the ongoing heritages and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

At Platinum we are committed to growing our own knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ contributions, perspectives, and traditions and, where appropriate and with permission, respectfully incorporating these into our daily practice.

We also understand that moving towards a more just and equitable future for all involves more than just acknowledging the mistakes of the past. In order to do this, we are dedicated to dismantling barriers, addressing the enduring effects of colonialism on First Nations peoples, striving to form connections with First Nations communities, and promoting their right to self-determination and recognition.
