VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Spotted Frog we believe reconciliation to be an important aspect of ensuring that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and educators feel valued and welcomed. Our aim is to strengthen relationships with First Nations educators, children, families and the wider community. At Spotted Frog, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures are extremely valued and we believe in guiding and educating children, families, and educators in the importance of acknowledging and understanding the rich customs, values and beliefs of First Nations Peoples.  Spotted Frog embeds Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives within our programs which not only offers First Nations children and families a sense of belonging, but also our non-Indigenous children and families the opportunity to extend their knowledges and respect. It is through our programs that we guide and educate children about reconciliation and connecting with Darkinjung Land and beyond in a respectful manner.  Our vision is to Be and Belong as we continue to educate ourselves and the children we care for whilst working towards reconciliation for todays and tomorrow’s children.
