VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision embodies a genuine and culturally sensitive approach to diverse practices at Kindy Patch Largs. We are dedicated to ensuring that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives are thoughtfully and respectfully woven into every aspect of our early learning environment, enriching our ties with the community and community-based initiatives. At Kindy Patch Largs, our mission is to empower educators to seamlessly integrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander viewpoints across all aspects of education, practices, and relationships within our services.

We strive to cultivate an environment that deeply respects the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identities and cultures. By nurturing robust community relationships, we aim to collaboratively craft learning experiences with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members, fostering a culturally sensitive atmosphere grounded in harmony. Guided by the principles of the National Quality Framework, we aim to uphold the significance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures throughout our educational offerings, fostering ethically informed learning experiences.  In addition to nurturing children's meaningful engagement with authentic experiences to cultivate their own reconciliation connections, our vision encompasses educators and children confidently and respectfully embracing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives.
