The Learning Sanctuary Glen Iris

The Learning Sanctuary Glen Iris recognises the importance of early childhood education and is committed to fostering equality and equity so that all children, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, have access to high-quality education. We believe this can be accomplished through developing strong relationships within the community, drawing respectfully upon the knowledge and histories of the Wurundjeri Nation and the Bunurong people.

Our vision is to provide a service that actively works towards reconciliation, with a focus on equality, equity, and respect. We aim to build respectful and trusting relationships, and devise policies, practices, and programs that are inclusive of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, their families, and the local communities.
