LEAD Childcare Riverview's vision for reconciliation is to continue to actively acknowledge that all children, families, Educators and Students that attend LEAD childcare have the right to learn about the histories and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. As Educators we feel it is our ethical duty to recognise and value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and being the First Nations Peoples of Australia.
We will visibly respect the Land, Plants, Animals and Water in which our service resides and actively acknowledge the unique connections that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Peoples’ have to the Land. We will support all educators and staff to work toward reconciliation through ongoing professional development.
