Here at Harmony Early Learning in Everton Park, we believe that reconciliation is a fundamental process that aims to foster understanding, respect, and unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people. Through collaborative partnerships with the local Elders and First Nations community, we aim to promote cultural awareness and understanding among educators, children, families and the wider community. We believe that by embracing diversity and actively listening to the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, we can truly create an inclusive learning journey that respects and values the unique contributions of all individuals. Reconciliation to us is not just a goal, but a continuous ongoing process which we are all committed to, and are willing to take meaningful action, together we can build a future for all where reconciliation is a shared responsibility regardless of their cultural background.
