Our vision for reconciliation at Kids Academy, Bulleen is for all Australians to work together, acknowledging the living cultures, stories and histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, ensuring they are respectfully embedded into our service and celebrated by all Australians as part of our national story.
Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds and actions of all Australians as we move forward, creating a nation strengthened by respectful relationships between the wider Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We will continue to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders perspectives into our centre, and rooms, with children, families and educators, so that reconciliation is part of our daily routines and practices. We commit to equity, inclusion and high expectations through these practices.
