Through education and our commitment to reconciliation, we endeavour to ensure that all children, Educators, families and the wider community have a deeper understanding of the histories and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. When it comes to reconciliation, we all need to work together to build respectful relationships between the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander and non-Indigenous community and communities that value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their histories, future, identities and cultures.
By building children's and educator’s understanding of Australia's true past and its impacts on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, we will work together, to create a future where children, families, and educators build respect, empathy and deepen their understanding of their place in the reconciliation journey.
