Read 2 Grow

Read 2 Grow's vision for reconciliation is that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families feel welcome, safe and a sense of belonging at our service. We will strive for increased knowledge and understanding of all Read 2 Grow educators, children and families, so that we can contribute outside our service and over generations to improve reconciliation and promote equal and equitable opportunities for the First Nations peoples of Australia. 

In practice, this reconciliation vision is a continuous process that includes active reflection of our learning environments, policies, engagement with community, and improvement of educators' ways of knowing, being and doing to incorporate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives meaningfully and authentically into the program and service.
