Here at Treasured Tots, we are striving towards the understanding of the histories and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Peoples. We can do this by recognising and acknowledging the wrongs of the past and the continuing effects that it has on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples since colonisation. We want to take action to move forwards with acceptance, respect, and understanding, building meaningful relationships between First Nations peoples and the wider community.
Our Reconciliation Action Plan is our continuous planned strategy on how we at Treasured Tots intend to create stronger meaningful relationships and partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. We believe in celebrating the rich cultures and heritages and working alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander business and organisations to deliver a curriculum that educates the younger generation and community of families and staff in a culturally, inclusive and sensitive manner.
