VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Mini Masterminds Box Hill is dedicated to reconciliation, building unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all other Australians to foster a harmonious future. We aspire to a just, equal, and fair Australia that acknowledges our nation's true histories and addresses the ongoing injustices faced by First Nations peoples since colonisation. We are committed to promoting positive racial relations, dismantling detrimental stereotypes, and upholding institutional integrity consistently. Reconciliation should permeate the hearts, minds, hands, and spirits of all Australians as we progress.

Our goal is to ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and educators have access to equal and equitable educational opportunities and to cultivate a workplace that is culturally safe, diverse, and proud of its heritage. We pledge to work respectfully with the local Dharug People and community organisations. Mini Masterminds Box Hill recognises the profound connection that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have with the land, water, and communities, appreciating the diversities of Traditional Custodians.

We acknowledge that our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is an ongoing initiative that will evolve as our centre grows. Our aim is for educators to embrace and implement respectful practices that enhance cultural inclusivity and promote a sense of community throughout our services.
